looking for an experienced

Head of Marketing

to join their client’s business comprising of stand-out venues for conferences, events and exhibitions, an on-site production company and accompanying hotels .

As a member of the senior management team, you will understand and interpret the venue goals into shape, internally consult and subsequently direct the delivery of an effective and measurable annual marketing plan, communications and PR plan and lead upon the consistent output of the venue brand book/guidelines. This is primarily an office-based role due to the nature of the industry, with occasional working from home, based on the business needs.
With no two days ever the same, they are looking for motivated people who enjoy a challenge and are passionate about being the best in their field.

What are we looking for in the successful Head of Marketing?
Higher education qualification in Marketing or related area.
Experienced in developing and executing outstanding marketing plans.
Experience directing/working alongside external agencies e.g. brand, advertising, PR, communications, designers, printers etc.
Working knowledge of the UK business event/hospitality industry.
Team player; able to build professional relationships and productive communications with internal and external contacts.
Able to efficiently manage own workload and seek support if required.
Creative and illustrative mindset – able to demonstrate creation, implementation and delivery of effective marketing campaigns.
Budget and project management experience.
Relevant Marketing qualifications or industry experience.
Knowledge of GDPR/data compliance.
Strong attention to detail.
