The Role
The Head of Marketing Operations will be pivotal in optimising our marketing processes, systems, and data to drive efficiency, performance and growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical and organisational skills to oversee and coordinate the marketing team’s integrated campaigns. You will bring with experience in marketing automation and data management, tech stack selection and management, and a passion for analysing results.
From managing budgets and timelines to data and metrics, you will keep the outputs of the marketing team on track and make sure that campaigns deliver the desired results.
The Marketing Operations role will work closely with the Head of Content with shared goals around pipeline generation and marketing performance, acting as a critical cog to keep everything running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Lead management and data management - support marketing and sales revenue goals by maintaining lead management processes including tracking and analysis of leads, working with sales operations to ensure lead attribution and follow up is in place.
Data analysis - including but not limited to campaign performance analysis, funnel reporting, pipeline or lead analysis, content performance, future
projections/forecasting
of leads or performance, strategic proposals for budget allocation and the ongoing marketing strategy. You will be responsible for our marketing scorecard and tracking of all marketing KPIs including summaries and recommendations.
Marketing techstack and automation – You will be the primary point of contact for all things Hubspot as well as marketing automation including workflows, lead assignment and collection, integrations,
list/report/dashboard
creation, imports and exports database segmentation and analysis.
The Summize website -you will be responsible for managing the website and taking it to the next level, working with the content team and paid media specialist to maintain and improve its performance (and freelancers / developers where needed).
Tech stack ownership and management - responsible for selecting and suggesting the tech stack of the marketing team and planning the strategic direction of tools and processes.
Strategy – aligning the rest of the marketing team’s plans based on data and forecasting, creating high-level strategic
plans/forecasts/calendars
to connect the other pillars and provide overarching direction, streamlining the department’s approach. Project management of campaigns and cross-departmental initiatives. Research of new platforms, initiatives and activities to generate sources of leads.
Competitor analysis – keep up to date with the market by reviewing industry trends, analysing competitor’s websites, products, campaigns and messaging and providing regular industry reports.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing in an operational or demand generation role preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.
Proven track record of project managing demand generation activities and campaigns.
Experience in Hubspot and Webflow would be an advantage (or similar CRM and CMS systems).
Passion for data management, reporting and analytics.
Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to budget.
Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing and translate results into recommendations.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with technical SEO fixes and improvements.
Experience in developing and executing demand generation strategies including researching and qualifying new activities and events as part of the overall marketing plan.
Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices in Marketing Ops and emerging technologies.
