Head of MathsMoore Teachers is working with a large and ambitious secondary school that provides a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve high standards and develop confidence in their learning. The school serves pupils aged 11-18 and is committed to delivering a broad and engaging curriculum.

The role:

Leading and developing the Maths department
Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5
Driving high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement
Supporting, mentoring, and developing departmental staff
Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
Contributing to the wider leadership and development of the schoolThe ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have a proven track record of successful Maths teaching at secondary level
Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills
Be passionate about achieving excellent outcomes for students
Have the ability to inspire both students and colleagues
