Head of Operations

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Head of Operations to join their team, responsible for managing the oversight of the day-to-day functioning and performance of operations within London. The successful candidate will ensure that the appropriate framework, reporting and accuracy exists and will endeavour to improve efficiency and driving strategic growth.

What you'll do:

• Deliver strategy, lead and manage Banking Operations.
• Ensuring the collaborative work between departments, contributing to bank-wide initiatives/projects, and reporting information to management.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Manage resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Identifying and managing risks including operational risks, regulatory risks, conduct risks, cyber security risks and financial crime risks (including, but not limited to, risks associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, bribery and corruption, sanctions breaches and fraud).

• Proven experience in an operations management role
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively
• Excellent strategic planning abilities
• Previous experience of preparing MI for management
• Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Exceptional communication skills
