Head of Paraplanning

Fram are working on a great opportunity to join a growing Financial Planning firm based in Somerset. Our client is looking to hire a Head of Paraplanner with previous experience as a senior PP or team Leader to join their established team. The Paraplanning team, work in a pooled environment along with admin team supporting circa 10 experienced Financial Planners. The firm is independent deals with pension, investment, IHT and mortgages. The role is to provide paraplanning support to advisors, help train and develop the PP team, manage appraisal, along with implementing procedures to keep the working turnaround service to a high standard.   
  
They are looking for candidate who can :
  

• Bring structure and attention to detail across all operational workflows, ensuring cases are managed efficiently from start to finish.
• Manage and develop small team of Paraplanners
• Prepare high-quality suitability reports for investments, pensions, and mortgages.
• Ensure every case is tracked, chased, and progressed without delays, reducing the need for management intervention.
• Conduct thorough pre-submission checks, ensuring client documentation (ID, credit reports, etc.) is complete and compliant.
• Manage follow-ups with providers using automated systems (Outlook and CRM) to avoid bottlenecks.
• Maintain accurate client records and case notes
•  Work closely with advisers and administrators to drive accountability and ensure standards are met. 

  
An ideal candidate will be Diploma qualified or higher with a strong background in paraplanning and knowledge of IO. Have experience managing a team of paraplanners as a Senior PP, or Team Leader.
