Job Description - Head of Partnerships

Company Description

Restaurant Kits is a venture backed start up with a simple mission: to bring the world’s best food home. We work with the best-in-class restaurants and chefs from around the world to create at-home kits that give people everything they need to recreate iconic restaurant dishes at home. 

The meal kit market is booming, poised to grow to over $20BN by 2027. Hellofresh, Gousto and Mindful Chef already cater to everyday meals but there is a huge gap in the market at the premium end.

Having launched in 2020 we have already worked with 30 amazing chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Adam Handling, Calunm Franklin, Tom Brown and many others. We have delivered over 100,000 meals to UK customers and we are looking for exceptional talent to join the team. 

Job Description

Partnerships are essential to our business. This is not a traditional sales role, you will not be cold-calling hundreds of people per day. Instead you will be nurturing fewer, high quality relationships with the world’s best restaurants and chefs. You will need to understand their restaurant operations in detail and build trust that we are able to replicate their food to the exact same standard as in their restaurant. 

You will be responsible for managing existing relationships and finding new partners to join Restaurant Kits. We only work with the very best restaurants and chefs from across the country and quality is at the hallmark of everything we do. 


You will have a huge amount of autonomy and impact at Restaurant Kits as we scale over the next few years. We want to expand beyond the UK to work with truly amazing restaurants from all over the world. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of strong commercial partnership experience. 

  • A deep love and knowledge of food/restaurants/cooking processes. 

  • An ability to understand restaurant owners and speak to them on their own terms. 

  • A process driven individual with an impeccable eye for detail. 

  • A proven track record for getting big strategic deals over the line. 

  • A strong black book of industry connections in food/music/film.
