HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that enhance our service offerings and drive growth for our client partners. This role involves identifying potential partners, negotiating agreements, and managing ongoing partner relationships across three key areas:

  • Media partnerships - with media owners across all channels, e.g. integrated editorial partnerships with publishers, AFP, Broadcast sponsorship etc
  • Charity partnerships – identification delivery and measurement of partnerships between charity clients and likeminded corporate partners; evaluation of partnerships between our charity clients and their corporate partners for revenue generation, employee engagement and reputation.
  • Commercial partnerships – helping to identify or amplify mutually beneficial partnerships between commercial organisations (clients and non-clients of Medialab) eg. brand and commercial partnership. Includes partnerships with sporting bodies, other brands etc

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Identify and evaluate potential partners that align with our strategic goals.
  • Develop partnership frameworks and processes from ideation to evaluation.
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements that benefit all parties.
  • Collaborate with client and specialist teams to integrate partnership solutions into our service offering.
  • Build strong relationships with key media partners.
  • Build strong relationships with key, senior client stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform partnership strategies.
  • Be a key part of new business pitching.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of partnerships.
  • Be a key member of the Leadership Group that identifies and evaluates possible external partners for Medialab’s Partnerlab programme.

THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful partnership development.

  • Media agency experience and experience in partnership development.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of identifying and securing strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decisions.
