Description

• Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and tax requirements.
• Manage payroll reporting and provide insights to the Accounting & Finance department.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll-related queries efficiently.
• Implement and optimise payroll systems and processes.
• Lead system implementation
• Support audits and ensure all payroll records are maintained accurately.
• Lead and develop the payroll team to meet departmental goals.

Profile

A successful Head of Payroll should have:

• Proven experience in Payroll Management or Head of Payroll position
• A strong understanding of UK & Irish payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software and accounting tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary range of £70,000 to £78,000 GBP, based on experience.
• Hybrid working with a 3/2 split between York office and home.
