Head of Payroll
Location:

Glasgow / Hybrid Working (relocation support offered)
Salary:

£58-65,000

Key responsibilities:
Managing a high volume payroll of 10,000+ including pensions, benefits, travel and expenses.
Leading the ongoing development of large teams.
Oversee and lead on performance levels of the payroll team.
Implement best practice and develop/improve poicies and procedures.
Answering and resolving all payroll related queries.
Designing, developing and delivering new processes to streamline and improve efficiency.
Deliver excellent customer service.

You will have:
Excellent communication, coaching and people skills.
Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation, including pensions, teachers pensions and employment and tax regulations.
Experience in running high volume payrolls of 10,000+.
Strong team leadership skills, including experience in coaching and development.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to manage budgets, forecast and create payroll reports.
Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel.
