Your role as Head of People

• Strategic Leadership: Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver people strategies that support business growth across farming, production, and transport.
• Operational HR Delivery: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and workforce planning, balancing hands-on support with long-term projects.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure full compliance with employment law, ethical standards, and industry regulations, while producing clear, actionable HR reports.
• People Development & Engagement: Drive employee engagement, lead training and development initiatives, and build a strong culture of inclusion and performance.
• Manager Support & Coaching: Equip managers with the tools and confidence to lead effectively through coaching, guidance, and policy implementation.

Requirements for the role:

• Senior Level experience within an operational, fast paced environment
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
• Experienced in managing high-volume employee relations cases, consistently achieving fair and effective outcomes
• Confident in producing clear, data-driven HR reports and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
• CIPD Level 5 qualified or with equivalent experience
