Reporting into the CEO, you’ll lead a small people team, and take on a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on operational work. You’ll act as a partner to the Leadership team, to navigate organisational and cultural change, and drive employee engagement and performance.

This will be a hybrid role, with a minimum of two days a week in our Brighton office. We are open to both part-time and full-time applicants.

Responsibilities

  • People & culture strategy:
    • Develop and execute a people strategy aligned to business goals
    • Define our employee experience and develop and implement the policies, procedures, and programmes that deliver on it
    • Enable continuous feedback loops with the team to inform the people strategy and optimise all areas of our employee experience
    • Lead a project to evolve our cultural values, in line with our changing business, and embed those values into all aspects of our work
  • Employee relations and HR:

    • Establish a consistent and effective performance evaluation process
    • Foster career growth and advancement opportunities
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
    • Champion DEI initiatives and integrate them into all functions
    • Develop and track metrics to measure DEI progress and impact
  • Talent acquisition:
    • Oversee a hiring process that enables us to attract and retain brilliant people, who align with our values
  • Experience leading a People & Culture team
  • Ability to align people strategies with business goals
  • Senior level experience in People leadership, with a track record of overseeing employee relations, people operations and leading cultural and organisational change
  • A detailed practical knowledge of HR policy, practice and employment legislation
  • Experience creating and leading initiatives with cultural impact, such as DEI
  • A passionate communicator with proven experience leading internal communications through change

Salary is ranged from £70,000 - £85,000 FTE
