Job Description - Head of Performance & CRM Marketing

This exciting role owns the strategy for multi-territory Paid and CRM marketing activity for MISSOMA managing a team of four as well as third party agency partnerships. You are a highly commercial and numerate Direct to Consumer Marketing specialist with demonstrable experience of delivering profitable new customers through Offline and Digital channels with hands-on expertise in Paid Social, PPC, Shopping and Affiliate activity, and you’ll bring best in class CRM strategies to retain and engage existing customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the CRM and Performance Marketing Teams, providing coaching and development and creating a cohesive working environment with shared goals and targets
  • Work closely with the Growth Director to define the strategy for global Performance and CRM Marketing activities, including long term omnichannel opportunities, and deliver channel plans through your teams and agencies
  • Devise the media plan and budget and set KPIs for all acquisition and CRM channels optimising investments towards profitable acquisition activities using your deep understanding of CPAs, customer journeys, database segmentation, attribution, LTV and profitability models
  • Analyse and report on all new customer acquisition marketing effectiveness, recommending optimisations and determining weekly, monthly and annual forecasts to measure against
  • Devise and maintain a continuous and robust testing roadmap for each channel to prove incrementality and optimise towards increased traffic, conversion and profitability
  • Manage relationships with agencies and develop collaborative, strategic partnerships to ensure service levels are met and costs managed efficiently, and seek new ways and partners to drive performance
  • Define database health targets in conjunction with Data and Customer Analyst and work with your CRM team to ensure BAU and automated programmes are optimised towards improving second order conversion, order frequency and AOV
  • Work with Ecommerce team and SEO agency to drive continuous SEO optimisations focused on traffic driving initiatives while balancing google spend to maximise organic brand visibility
  • Collaborate with Organic Marketing, PR and Retail teams to identify key campaign or product activity and proactively develop omnichannel campaigns to support and drive new customers
  • Identify, explore and implement new acquisition channel and territory opportunities to drive omnichannel brand awareness and profitable new customer growth

COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ Marketing experience for a Direct to Consumer or Ecommerce business managing performance channels, SEO and CRM with a focus on CPA profitability
  • Experience in managing and growing teams and international markets
  • Strong data analysis skills and excel proficiency
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Google Ads experience
  • AWIN platform and affiliate management experience
  • Meta Ads Manager experience
  • Excellent communicator
