Overview:
A mission-driven health and wellbeing company is seeking a Head of Performance Marketing to take full ownership of digital acquisition execution across paid search and paid social. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who wants to step up from an agency-reliant model and help build an internal centre of excellence. As the business scales, this role will evolve into a leadership position with team-building and strategic growth responsibilities. You'll be joining a high-performance, purpose-driven environment where growth is measured not only in metrics, but in mission.
The Role:This role will lead the execution of all performance marketing activity, with a strong focus on Paid Search and Paid Social . You will report to the future Head of Growth Marketing and will be responsible for transitioning the company from a largely agency-led setup into a more agile, in-house performance function. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in the details of paid media optimisation but also brings a commercial mindset and long-term team-building potential.
Responsibilities:Full ownership of hands-on performance marketing execution, particularly Paid Search
Manage Paid Social activity and guide optimisation and testing across creative and audience segments
Own campaigns end-to-end: setup, optimisation, performance reporting, and budget pacing
Contribute to strategic growth decisions with a business-first lens
Manage and guide the performance agency in the short term while building in-house capability
Continuously iterate on campaign structure, bidding strategies, and creative testing frameworks
Help define performance goals, KPIs, and reporting frameworks aligned with business objectives
Collaborate with brand, product, and content teams to drive cross-functional performance
7+ years experience with a deep focus on Paid Search in high-performance environments
Strong working knowledge of Paid Social and campaign testing frameworks
Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and performance-driven campaigns hands-on
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and commercial awareness
Experience working closely with or within a high-growth consumer brand or e-commerce business
Sharp thinker with a bias for action — thrives in detail but can see the bigger picture
Comfortable stepping into leadership and mentoring roles as the function scales
Role suited to those currently at "Manager" or early "Head of" level looking for more ownership
London - Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in UK-based office. (Fully- Remote not considered for this role)
Salary:£80,000 – £90,000 (depending on experience)
