Head of Platform Governance

We are privileged to be working within a highly respected Investment Management organisation who proud themselves in focussing on client/customer relationships with the ethos being to help individuals with investment and financial planning and provide technology to make things simple and clear.

Based in the heart of the City and due to ongoing expansion, they are now seeking a new Head of Platform Governance.

This high-profile role will see you working with a number of stakeholders including their clients (Financial Advisers and their businesses who use the platform), key partners to the platform and internal teams to support oversight of the platform proposition and development of the proposition

With responsibility for delivering good customer outcomes and fair value, the role will see you leading on oversight and reporting to their Consumer Duty outcomes, ensuring the business is monitoring data, taking action where required and continually reviewing the outcomes for customers and assessing fair value

Understanding their corporate strategy, the wider market environment and client needs to define a prioritised proposition roadmap for the Platform, the role will also see you developing business cases for key propositional developments, identifying target markets, and outcomes for that proposition, as well as working collaboratively with the Transformation Team and other key stakeholders to input requirements and shape the deliveries.

This is a pivotal role that will see you consistently following the FCA's Consumer Duty principles.

As someone who already possesses proven and extensive knowledge of the UK platform market, including the regulatory environment and related administration including tax wrappers, you will be someone who understands the business strategy and collaborate with the business to accomplish this strategy, together with assertiveness and tenacity and the ability to drive through and ensure that necessary actions are taken to service the clients, whilst maintaining positive relationships with them and within the company
