Head of PR & Communications

Job DescriptionThis successful financial services company are looking for an experienced Head of PR and Communications to join its developing Corporate Affairs Team on a 9 month fixed term contract. You will develop and lead the PR, media and digital communication strategies to support the overall corporate comms strategy. Responsibilities:Develop and execute insight-led PR and media relations strategyLead on the digital communication strategy, including strategy and purpose for individual digital channelsOverall accountability for the tone of voice and content for the corporate websiteAdvising on media engagement and PR opportunities to support business strategyLead on crisis communications plans and advise on comms risk handlingSupport the development of ESG strategyWork closely with internal communications team on developing culture and embedding the delivery of the new strategy Manage relationship with retained PR, comms & digital agencySkills & Experience Experience working in Corporate Communications at leadership levelStrong experience of developing and delivering comprehensive, integrated communications strategiesProven experience of media management with a good understanding of the developing media landscapeExperience of communications for major incidents or crisis situations Experience of directing and managing agency support Excellent written and spoken communications skillsThis is a 9 month FTC and salary up to £75,000 pro rata
