A well-regarded and forward-thinking law firm based in Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced and ambitious Private Client Solicitor to lead its growing Private Client department.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will manage their own diverse caseload while also leading a team and contributing to the strategic development of the department.

Areas of work will include:

• Wills and Estate Planning
• Probate and Estate Administration
• Court of Protection matters
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Drafting Deeds of Variation
• Inheritance Tax Planning
• Contentious Probate
• Trusts and Probate matters

Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will demonstrate:

• Strong technical ability across all areas of Private Client law
• Proven experience managing or supervising a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Organised, approachable and empathetic nature
• Good IT proficiency including CMS, Outlook, Word and Excel
• A proactive and friendly attitude with a desire to support the growth and marketing of the department
