We are hiring a Head of Product Management to lead Descrial's product strategy through its V2 launch in early 2027. You will be key to decisions on where we compete, what we build and what we leave out.

You will own the direction, roadmap and packaging, lead multiple product managers across London and Bengaluru and carry product decisions to the Executive Committee. The work is to turn customer needs into a product the business can commit to and engineering can deliver.

The role

As Descrial's senior product voice, you report to the Executive Committee and work as a peer to the Head of Engineering. You set the operating rhythm between product, engineering, design and the commercial team, and take responsibility for the choices behind the roadmap.

Your remit

The strategy and roadmap

You define where Descrial competes and what the product will and will not do. You turn that direction into a sequenced roadmap, make the priorities and trade-offs explicit and explain the decisions to clients, engineers and the Executive Committee. You set clear cut-lines for V2 against the early-2027 launch target.

With the commercial team, you own packaging, including how consumption-based elements work when the cost of serving a workflow varies.

The product organisation

All the product managers across London and Bengaluru report to you. You develop the team and work alongside Design and Customer Success. You set the discovery cadence, specification standards and release governance, and make the interface with design research clear. You set the hiring bar and bring your judgement to every product hire that follows.

The customer and market

You stay close to enterprise customers with Customer Success, lead discovery and validation and bring structured feedback into the roadmap. In client conversations where the roadmap is part of what they are buying, you represent the product and explain the choices behind it.

AI quality and product judgement

You partner with the Head of Engineering and Architects on feasibility, sequencing and the cost of LLM-powered features, including agentic workflows, retrieval and document intelligence. You define what good looks like, how quality is measured and when a capability is ready to ship.

You decide where an agent can act on its own, where it should propose an action for a person to approve and how much of a workflow to automate at once. Those decisions belong in the product strategy and release criteria.

Your experience

* You have led product teams for four years or more, including hiring and developing strong product managers.

* You have shipped B2B SaaS products or enterprise platforms from ambiguity to revenue and can walk through the decisions that made them.

* You have set direction for a product line and been accountable for the outcome, with ownership extending beyond delivery.

* You understand LLM-powered features, evaluation-led quality and the cost and latency trade-offs of production AI.

* You can work with a technical peer as an equal and hold a considered view on feasibility and sequencing.

* You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business or a related field, or equivalent experience. An advanced degree is welcome.

Useful to have, none required

* Financial services experience, ideally in asset management or private markets. The domain expertise is already here; we value product judgement above sector tenure.

* Experience in a founder-led scale-up through a comparable build phase. Descrial – Head of Product Management 3 of 5

* Exposure to multi-tenant enterprise platforms with complex permissions and data-isolation requirements.

The reality

This will be difficult.

It demands pace and accuracy. We are building autonomous systems inside high-stakes live businesses, where decisions carry real consequences and impact and waiting for everyone to agree is not always an option.

The systems will sometimes get things wrong. In this phase the London team needs to create the evaluations, visibilities and safeguards that catch mistakes early, reducing them over time and stopping the same failures happening again.

Compensation and equity

The all-inclusive package is typically £190,000–£220,000 a year, depending on experience. We may go beyond this in exceptional cases. Meaningful equity in the venture comes on top.

* King's Cross, London. In office (3 to 5 days a week), with colleagues in London and Bengaluru.
