Build the investment case for new projects and assess alternative concepts. Ensure engineering maturity supports funding approval. Sign off design packages, technical deliverables, and programmes. Supervise third-party engineering contractors and in-country project teams. Define how projects are executed from start to finish. Shape capital and operating budgets and monitor delivery against plan. Assure cost, schedule, and resource plans across the portfolio. Own integrity strategy for facilities and pipelines. Drive emissions monitoring and methane leak reduction. Contribute engineering input to insurance, decommissioning liability, and annual performance reviews.
Requirements
MSc in Mechanical Engineering. Chartered Engineer status. 15+ years of experience in oil & gas, covering both onshore and offshore projects. Senior technical leadership on major projects, plant integrity, process safety, startup, and late-life decommissioning. Strong blend of engineering depth and project delivery expertise. Proven track record of leading teams and setting long-term direction Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
