The Role

• Lead and develop the Psychology department, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning at KS4 and KS5.


• Oversee curriculum design, integrating contemporary psychological theories and research.


• Inspire and support a team of teachers, promoting best practices in pedagogy and assessment.


• Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to drive whole-school initiatives and student achievement.


• Monitor student progress, implementing strategies to enhance attainment and engagement in Psychology.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Psychology or a related field, along with PGCE/QTS.


• Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5, with a track record of student success.


• Leadership experience or strong potential to lead and manage a department effectively.


• A commitment to fostering student curiosity and academic achievement in Psychology.

Salary

The salary will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS + TLR/SLT pay scale) based on experience and qualifications.
