Job Description - Head of Quality and Governance
The Head of Quality and Governance will provide leadership on quality, compliance and governance for the whole of the organisation. The postholder must have a valid driving license to travel independently across region in England.
The postholder key responsibiliites will be:
Organisational Governance and Compliance including - developing the organisational governance framework, coordinating CQC inspections and visits, developing CQC, HSE compliance tools and action plans
Incident Management and Risk Management including - Incident management, closure and lessons learnt, Analysis of incident themes and trends and finding innovative ways to learn from incidents.
Training and Development
Data analysis and presentation
Information governance and data protection
Health and Safety Management
The successful candidate will have the following experience
- Deep regulatory expertise built through experience in a range of healthcare settings
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at senior level
- Delivering change and transformation programmes with lasting impact
It is highly desirable that the succesful candidate will have
- Previous experience as a CQC Inspector
- Clinical Background - Mental Health/General Nurse with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
It is desirable that successful candidate will have
- Evidence of further development such as a Diploma or Advanced Degree
- Management or leadership qualification.
- Experience in strategic planning and service development.
- A track record of promoting patient safety, clinical quality, and patient experience
