Head of Reconciliations

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-known and profitable business in Bradford who are looking for a head of reconciliations on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the finance director the chosen candidate will be joining the business in a period of sustained growth, the chosen candidate will lead a team of 5 in all areas of reconciliations, cash and banking and credit control for the group. Candidates from professional services are encouraged to apply. This role offers 2 days working from home after probation.

Duties include:

• Lead the reconciliation team, planning and directing team workloads for effective working
• Continue to develop and improve the automated processing for the department
• Full responsibility for the bank reconciliations of the group
• Post daily cash books
• Ensure accounts are correctly reconciled
• Allocate receipts to invoices
• Liaise with the credit team, ensuring swift collection of monies owed
• Collaborate with internal teams ensuring monies are allocated within correct timeframe
• Lead, develop and manage a small team of 5 working with the management accountant and finance director

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with substantial reconciliations experience and / or finance manager duties.

Salary on offer will pay in the region of £40,000 + bonus + superb benefits, including enhanced pension contribution and private healthcare.
