Head of Reformer

We’re looking for a dynamic, highly skilled Head of Reformer to lead and elevate the Reformer Pilates experience within one of London’s most exciting fitness concepts. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the identity, programming, and culture of a growing modality in a premium, design-led wellness space. 

As Head of Reformer, you’ll take ownership of all things Reformer - from programming and instructor development to member experience and operational excellence. You’ll set the standard for teaching quality, build a great team, and ensure every class delivers results, connection, and impact.This role is perfect for a passionate and experienced Reformer leader with a sharp eye for innovation, a strong commercial mindset, and a commitment to creating best-in-class member experiences.

The Role...

1. Programming & Innovation

• Lead the creation and continual evolution of a signature Reformer Pilates programme that reflects the brand’s values and vision
• Develop class formats that challenge and inspire, balancing creativity, function, and results
• Ensure programming caters to a wide range of member needs—from athletic performance to rehabilitation and lifestyle fitness
• Stay at the forefront of trends and advancements in Reformer and movement science

2. Instructor Recruitment & Development

• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of Reformer instructors
• Set clear teaching standards and deliver ongoing education, workshops, and feedback sessions
• Foster a positive, inspiring team culture that promotes collaboration and professional growth
• Ensure consistent class delivery and adherence to brand tone, flow, and energy

3. Member Experience

• Deliver an exceptional member journey - from first class to loyal advocate
• Collect, track, and respond to member feedback to enhance experience and engagement
• Promote community within and beyond the studio, leading events, challenges, and workshops
• Work cross-functionally with front-of-house, marketing, and operations to ensure class excellence

4. Operations & Studio Excellence

• Own the operational performance of the Reformer studio, including equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and class scheduling
• Monitor class utilisation and work closely with the bookings/reception team to optimise the schedule
• Support integration of Reformer within broader studio programming and campaigns
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and quality assurance protocols

5. Commercial & Strategic Input

• Contribute to the growth strategy of the Reformer modality within the business
• Track class performance, instructor utilisation, and member retention metrics
• Identify commercial opportunities—from workshops and training to new class types and collaborations
• Partner with marketing and sales teams to drive acquisition and retention through Reformer

The Person:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience teaching Reformer Pilates in a boutique or high-end setting
• Leadership experience within a studio or training environment
• Deep understanding of movement science, functional training, and class design
• Confident leading and mentoring instructors to deliver excellence
• Strong communicator with a natural ability to inspire teams and members alike
• Organised, detail-driven, and comfortable managing both people and processes
• Passionate about holistic wellness and committed to raising the bar in boutique fitness
