We have an incredible opportunity to join us as our Head of Repairs! You will manage the overall inhouse team comprising of repairs technicians, grounds maintenance operatives and office staff. You will work with stakeholders in developing our repairs and maintenance strategy for all our property portfolio and business activities.
We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.
Outline of Key Responsibilities...
Responsibility for the frontline delivery of our key resident facing areas of repairs and grounds maintenance
To assist in reviewing and updating every year the Asset Management strategies and priorities for the short, medium, and long term, in accordance with available resources and consultation with stakeholders and tenants in relation to repairs and maintenance
Assist the Assistant Director of Asset Management with the creation and delivery of our ‘one common goal’ approach to deliver continually better services to our residents
To take responsibility for effective budget, staff resource and performance management to ensure operational delivery within designated budgets, KPI’s and targets
You will lead on researching and implementing solutions to problems that allow us to deliver products and services more innovatively
We are looking for someone who has...
RICS or CIOB qualified or extensive experience in a similar senior role in repairs management
Experience of leading large inhouse teams
Experience in preparing and presenting complex reports
Experience in managing large budgets
Extensive knowledge of legislation and best practice concerning repairs, property related health and safety as well as employee health and safety
A full UK driving licence

An annual salary of £65,592.83 plus a car allowance of £1,545 per annum
