Working as part of a rapidly expanding finance function, you will play an essential role in supporting a market leader to achieve their lofty ambitions as they take advantage of strong organic growth and M&A pipeline.

Within this exciting story is a role that will provide ideal exposure for an ACA Qualified, reporting-focused accountant who is looking to go on a journey with an organisation and support them through a capital event.

Reporting to a finance leader with exceptional industry knowledge, we are looking for someone eager to manage a small team of ACA Qualified Accountants, take ownership of the reporting process, and build upon the already strong Controls environment.

Salary: £80,000-£90,000

Location: South MCR with hybrid working (4 days in the office)

Main Duties:

• Oversee app statutory financial statements including income statements, cashflow and balance sheets.
• Oversee the development of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to ensure appropriate compliance is adhered to.
• Monthly the consolidation of financial statement within the group.
• Ensure all financial reporting complies with IFRS and GAAP.
• Submit regulatory filings to ensure compliance with relevant bodies, including tax findings and statutory accounts.
• Oversee corporation tax.
• Identify financial and operational risk and provide support to mitigate these risks.
• Implement financial policies and procedures to comply with corporate governance.
• Act as the key point of contact for all financial reporting matters.

Person Specification:

• ACA Qualified Accountant, currently holding a similar Head of Reporting role.
• Ample experience working in a regulated PLC environment.
• Excellent experience of development processes and controls.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
• Strong problem solving.
• Advanced IT skills.
• Experience working in e-commerce is advantageous.
