I am working with a leading innovator in the travel and retail industry, committed to enhancing the travel experience for their customers. Their travel hubs is a vibrant, dynamic space that offer a wide range of retail options, ensuring travellers have access to everything they need on the go.
I am seeking a dynamic Head of Retail to lead the retail operations at one of the key travel hubs. This role is pivotal in driving retail strategy, maximizing sales, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities of the Head of Retail
Develop and implement a comprehensive retail strategy to drive sales growth and enhance the customer experience.
Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring smooth functioning and high standards across all retail outlets within the hub.
Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of retail professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall travel experience for our customers.
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the availability of a diverse range of quality products.
Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
The right Head of Retail
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably within big box retail, Quick service restaurants or Food Retail.
Proven track record of successful leadership, with the ability to inspire and drive a team towards achieving business goals.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
A strong customer-centric approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
