As the Head of Source to Pay (Procurement) Tech within Enterprise Applications, you will be accountable for leading and working with the Procurement product team to define, implement and optimize our Procurement products across Haleon, in line with business priorities and to maximize value for money over the lifecycle of the product.
This pivotal role will be a part of our Enterprise Applications Technology team, reporting directly to the Head of Financial Systems.
Responsibilities include:
Strategic Ownership:

Accountable for strategy, oversight of implementation and product delivery for the products used by Procurement operations inclusive of the Sourcing, Contract Management, Indirect Procurement, Supplier Performance, Category Strategy and Travel & Expense processes.
Product Domain:

Understand the product domain from a technology perspective (including staying connected with broader Procurement and Tech industry viewpoints), and how the technology decisions we make will add value for our business stakeholders.
Architectural Alignment:

Collaborate on Product & Data architecture standards. Provide input to Product & Data architecture, aligning across the Haleon Tech organization on standards relating to platforms, cyber security, strategic vendors & delivery models. Ensure governance is followed and support governance bodies to approve experiments and product improvement projects.
Design, Develop, Test, Deploy, and Support:

Take ownership of the end-to-end process for Procurement applications, ensuring seamless design, development, rigorous testing, and successful deployment and handover to support. This includes accountability for quality and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
Performance Oversight:

Manage overall Procurement applications service performance, ensuring effective risk management and value realization throughout their lifecycle. At the Business Unit Level, success is gauged by achieving maximum value while maintaining optimal cost versus risk.
Stakeholder Communication:

Review, communicate, and address application performance with business and service providers, establishing an effective communication and performance improvement framework.
Leadership & Development:

Lead and develop direct reports in line with Haleon HR and Tech strategies, driving matrix teams when necessary. Use your experience to support the development of your team, make sound decisions and encourage strategic thinking, innovation and action.

Essential Qualifications:
Exceptional understanding of and exposure to Procurement processes

8+ years’ experience of working with enterprise solutions in these areas:

Buying Goods & Services; Contract Management; Sourcing; Travel & Expense; Category Management; using tools such as SAP Ariba, Vizibl, SAP Concur and SAP ECC and/or S/4.

Excellent leadership skills such as;
Takes accountability for delivering results

Has a curious mind and is able to “bring the outside in”

Is able to adapt their style for maximum results

Grows and inspires their team and is able to motivate and unleash potential

Proven experience in product management and providing solutions for business problems.

Proven track record in successful technical development, solution design and product delivery, via Agile and waterfall delivery methods

Excellent senior stakeholder management, with strong influencing and communication skills.

Experience working with third parties in the delivery of working products.

Experience working with diverse teams (countries and cultures) effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
10+ years experience in project delivery roles

Previous experience working in the IT/Tech organization of a global FMCG company

A user and data driven approach to product management, with experience in evaluation of use cases.

Degree in a Science-related field ( Engineering, Information Technology or Software Development)
