Job Description - Head of Sales

Job Description

Our Client is a leading B2B delivery platform within the grocery, food, beverage and retail industries.

They are seeking an experienced and result-orientated leader to join their team as Head of Sales.

Your Responsibilities:
Establish, manage, and expand a sales pipeline to maximise our net growth in numbers and revenue by putting into practice efficient sales strategies and initiatives and meeting predetermined KPIs for each of our business lines.
Map and target UK leaders in various verticals, including food, grocery, retail, and e-commerce.
Create, train, supervise, and mentor the UK sales team.
Guarantee efficient communication, teamwork, and the transfer of customers to the Key Account & Operations teams.
Ensure that our CRM system (Salesforce), sales process, and methodology are used to maximise productivity and effectiveness.
Create sales reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards that show successes, actions that have been put into practice, difficulties, and potential development areas.
Work together between the Operations and Product teams to better focus client-facing efforts, and take the initiative to identify problems and provide solutions.
Create and present persuasive pitches, demos, and sales materials with the help of our marketing staff.
Develop and oversee multidisciplinary projects and make contributions to the worldwide business plan.
Represent our client in conferences and exhibitions, among other events.

Your Requirements and Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience creating, developing, growing, and leading a fast-paced corporate sales team, along with additional success as a sales individual contributor.
A track record of success in direct sales in a business-to-business setting. SMB is advantageous.
A goal-oriented mentality that is concentrated on hitting goals and increasing sales performance.
A data-driven approach to help make wise business decisions
Excellent writing and oral communication abilities to fulfil a range of communication requirements
Consultative and relationship-building sales abilities A bonus is having prior experience selling to the restaurant, food, or retail industries.
