Job Description - Head of Sales - Biosimilars

As a global health care group with more than 100 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices and life sciences, we have more than 30,000 employees worldwide, with just over 1000 in the UK & Ireland .The RoleWe are looking to appoint a Head of Sales for the UK & Ireland with responsibility for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets and increase market share. The role will provide leaderships to the Key Account Managers and will drive revenue, profitability and market share increases. We're looking for the drive to oversee the entire sales function, including team leadership, strategic planning, market analysis, and customer relationship management and the tenacity to grow position and ensure the alignment of sales objectives with our overall business strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy Development and Execution:Develop and implement a comprehensive Sales strategy aligned with overall business goalsIdentify new market opportunities and drive business growthSupport on the Tender Process to maximise successAlign sales activity with the marketing strategy and operational budget Team Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team across the UK & IrelandSet performance targets and provide ongoing training and developmentGive direction to the team by translating strategic aims into SMART regional objectives through the preparation of robust account plans Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales cultureEnsure CRM compliance to ensure our CRM system is embedded within the team and used effectively to record and improve customer interactionsRevenue and Profitability Management:Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goalsMonitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as neededOptimise sales processes to improve efficiency and effectivenessMarket Analysis and Customer Insights:Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trendsAnalyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and growthDevelop strong relationships with key opinion leader and stakeholders Experience & Qualifications:Experienced sales manager, preferably with knowledge of and experience in a Secondary Care SettingStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targetsExperience in developing and implementing successful sales strategiesAbility to manage the sales budget and to maximise results from spendProficiency in CRM software and sales analytics toolsIn-depth knowledge of the industry and market dynamicsAbility to travel across the UK and Ireland as requiredABPI qualified
