Head of Supply Chain

The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain function-from raw material sourcing through production planning to distribution. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in chilled food manufacturing, a robust understanding of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and a proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Lead and oversee all supply chain functions, including demand and supply planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and customer fulfillment.

• Planning & S&OP: Own and continuously improve the S&OP process to align demand forecasting, supply planning, production, and inventory strategies across the business.

• Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with overall business goals, focusing on agility, cost efficiency, service level improvement, and sustainability.

• Chilled Food Expertise: Leverage in-depth understanding of chilled food manufacturing to optimize short shelf-life logistics, cold chain integrity, and freshness compliance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and NPD teams to ensure alignment of supply chain plans with business priorities.

• Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Supplier and Logistics Management: Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and logistics providers to ensure supply continuity, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring robust contingency planning and crisis management procedures.

• Technology & Systems: Champion the use of ERP/MRP and advanced planning systems to enhance data-driven decision-making and operational visibility.

• Proven experience in a senior supply chain leadership role within the chilled food manufacturing sector.

• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end supply chains, including production planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

• Strong expertise in S&OP processes, demand forecasting, and production planning.

• Deep understanding of chilled supply chain dynamics, including cold chain management and short-shelf-life challenges.

• Experience working with major retailers and understanding their supply chain expectations and KPIs.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.

• Familiarity with ERP and supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar).
