Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a project delivery organisation in the appointment of a Head of Supply Chain. This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced, multi-project environment, offering the opportunity to shape and drive supply chain strategy across complex engineering projects.

As Head of Supply Chain, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier development, ensuring the successful delivery of goods and services in line with cost, time and quality goals.

The Role

* Develop, deliver and drive the Group Supply Chain strategy, aligned to business growth and project delivery objectives

* Lead strategic sourcing activity, strengthening and diversifying the global supplier base

* Negotiate and manage long-term supplier agreements, including commercial terms, frameworks and SLAs

* Build and develop key supplier partnerships and relationships as well as manage supplier performance

* Monitor global commodity and logistics trends, identifying risks and opportunities impacting project timescales and objectives

* Lead the development of supply chain systems and processes

* Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, driving best practice, compliance and alignment to project timelines

* Manage high-value and critical supplier contracts

About You

* Extensive senior leadership experience within procurement and supply chain within construction or heavy engineering

* Proven track record of delivering strategic sourcing and leading high value commercial negotiations

* Experience sourcing complex, bespoke engineered equipment within a global supplier base

* Strong knowledge of categories such as structural steel, OEM equipment, fabricated assemblies and coated products

* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, risk and delivery
