Head of Supply Chain

Location: London - Near Liverpool Station 3 days a week - Hybrid

Summary:
We are working with a fantastic SME business that genuinely values its people and is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Supply Chain to join its growing team. This is a broad and influential role for a commercially minded supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, and driving improvements. You will take ownership of key supply chain activities while leading and developing a team and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is confident making decisions quickly, comfortable challenging existing processes, and capable of taking ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the supply chain team, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture
Manage end-to-end supply chain activities across demand planning, forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance
Develop accurate demand forecasts and ensure supply plans align with business requirements
Analyse demand trends, customer requirements, and historical data to improve forecast accuracy
Take ownership of CRM systems and ensure accurate and effective use of supply chain data
Work extensively with Zoho CRM, using the system to manage information, reporting, and customer/supply chain activity
Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance
Work closely with sales, operations, finance, and other internal teams
Manage supplier relationships and proactively resolve supply and service issues
Identify risks within the supply chain and implement appropriate solutions
Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and ways of working
Make fast, commercially sound decisions in a time-sensitive environment
Key Skills/Experience:

Proven experience operating at Head of Supply Chain, Supply Chain Manager, or similar senior level
Strong experience across demand planning and forecasting
Excellent understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations
Extensive CRM experience, ideally including Zoho
Proven experience managing and developing teams
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
Confident working with data, KPIs, and performance reporting
A self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do
Strong decision-making skills and comfortable working under pressure
Commercially aware with a practical and solutions-focused approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProcessing Your Data
