A cutting edge Biotechnology organisation based in Hammersmith is looking to expand their HR team with a newly appointed Talent Acquisition Lead on a 6 month fixed-term basis. This is a true leadership position with oversight and responsibility for the Talent function across the business from Scientific / Corporate / C-Suite hires in the UK. Following a significant Series B investment; the organisation is beginning their first in human trials and looking to expand their portfolio within Immunotherapy within the next 3-5 years.
As the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will be responsible for the following tasks: Build strong relationships with Senior Leaders, hiring managers and other Stakeholders of the business Understand each business unit, their stakeholders and future recruitment requirements to prioritize workload Advertise and promote all roles on the Careers website and other internal / external means as required Source and present qualified candidates to stakeholders Prepare candidates for interviews both virtually and onsite, ensuring a cultural fit Champion good recruitment process with all stakeholders Develop and enhance processes and procedures to improve the recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers Create and execute an evolving EVP that compliments the businesses core values and ethos Build a strong relationship with HR and Finance teams to encourage collaboration with the business units for all recruitment activities Work in collaboration with HR to support onboarding and offboarding of staff for the business.
Experience we are looking for Hands on Biotechnology / Life Science Talent Acquisition experience working within an RPO or In house model (must have) Proven record of direct sourcing strategy Ability to drive relationships with several different stakeholders and hold credibility in your role Organised, diligent and logical in managing key recruitment workflows Able to prioritise and communicate different business needs both internally and externally Demonstrated success in managing and fostering productive relationships with agencies
Technical skills required Working experience with Applicant Tracking Systems Highly efficient with Microsoft 365 Recruiting, leading, and developing teams to tight deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate in a changing / fast-paced environment Confident and pragmatic problem-solving ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
This is a 6 month fixed term contract with the view to extend after the period and potentially convert into a full time role. You will be required to be on site at least 2 days per week.
