Head of Treasury - Banking

Excellent career opportunity to join a medium-sized international bank in the UK as their new Head of Treasury – a senior leadership role requiring PRA/FCA certification.

The bank is actively growing its Commercial Real Estate and Corporate lending portfolios and needs a treasury leader to provide stable, diversified funding to support this balance sheet expansion.

The role covers:

• Liquidity and market risk management across the balance sheet
• Oversight of FX (spot & swaps), money markets (deposits/interbank), bonds, interest rate swaps and repo activity
• No proprietary trading book – focus is purely balance sheet management, risk mitigation and funding
• Stable regulatory positioning
• Leadership of a small, senior team (4 direct reports across dealing, ALM and treasury management)
• Chairing ALCO and membership of Executive and key risk/credit committees

This is a hands-on but strategic role offering strong executive visibility and influence. Experience within an international or foreign bank subsidiary/branch environment, particularly with treasury P&L responsibility and ALM expertise, would be highly relevant.
