They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Year to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal development of students.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and manage the year group, providing support and guidance to both students and staff.
• Monitor and track student progress, focusing on both academic and personal development.
• Address and resolve behavioural issues, promoting a positive school culture.
• Develop and implement strategies to support student well-being and achievement.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
• Collaborate with other Heads of Year and senior leadership to ensure consistency and continuity across the school.
• Organise and oversee year group events and activities, enhancing the educational experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in Education or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a pastoral or leadership role within a school setting.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A commitment to student success and well-being.
