A growing veterinary practice is seeking a compassionate and experienced Head Veterinary Nurse to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care while providing leadership and support within a collaborative practice environment.

Responsibilities

  Deliver high-quality nursing care through nurse-led appointments and clinical activities

  Assist veterinarians with consultations, surgeries, and medical procedures

  Monitor patients and provide appropriate nursing care throughout treatment and recovery

  Manage patient admissions and discharges while ensuring continuity of care

  
  


• 
  

  Educate and support pet owners by providing guidance on treatment plans and preventative care

  Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing team to promote clinical excellence and professional development

  Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation

  Ensure compliance with all professional, regulatory, and operational standards

  Collaborate effectively with veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional patient and client experiences

Qualifications

• 
  

  Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification and current registration with the appropriate regulatory body

  
  


• 
  

  Previous veterinary nursing experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred

  
  


•
