Head Waiter/waitress

Akoko Michelin Star Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Waiter to join our team. As a Head Waiter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will lead a team of waitstaff, coordinate service, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Leadership:

Lead and motivate the waitstaff team to deliver exceptional service. Provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
Service Coordination:

Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow.
Guest Relations:

Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner. Address any concerns or special requests promptly and effectively.
Menu Knowledge:

Possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials. Assist guests with menu choices and make recommendations.
Quality Control:

Ensure that all food and beverages served meet the restaurant's quality standards. Conduct regular checks to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Upselling:

Proactively promote menu items and beverages to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Problem Resolution:

Handle any issues or complaints from guests with tact and diplomacy. Take appropriate action to resolve problems and ensure guest satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other staff members to achieve common goals and objectives. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Training and Development:

Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance and enhance skills.
Administrative Tasks:

Assist with administrative duties such as inventory management, ordering supplies, and processing payments.
Requirements:
Experience:

Previous experience as a head waiter or similar role in a high-end restaurant is preferred.
Hospitality Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
Leadership Abilities:

Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Organizational Skills:
