Health And Safety Advisor

A global specialist manufacturing organisation are currently recruiting for a Senior HSE Advisor to join their business on an interim basis for an initial 3-month contract.

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance while promoting a positive safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and company standards.

* Lead risk assessments, COSHH management and safe systems of work.

* Support incident investigations, audits and corrective actions.

* Conduct shop floor inspections, behavioural observations and safety engagement.

* Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and inductions.

* Support environmental compliance and contractor management.

* Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and HR teams to drive continuous improvement.

About You:

* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).

* Previous HSE experience within manufacturing, engineering or an industrial environment.

* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.

* Experience of risk assessments and incident investigations.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

* A proactive, practical approach with a passion for improving safety culture.

Desirable:

* NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards).

* IOSH membership.

* Experience within a regulated or safety-critical industry.

* Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
