An established, owner-managed manufacturing company with over 40 years of experience in supplying, installing, and maintaining highly-engineered products for businesses throughout the UK. As a result of continued growth, and to ensure ongoing success, they are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join their team.

The Role

This vital leadership position is essential for advancing health & safety awareness across the business. As a key driver of health & safety initiatives, you will collaborate closely with departments and support line managers to align their goals and responsibilities with regulatory standards. Your role will involve promoting innovative approaches, challenging current practices, and championing a culture of continuous improvement in health & safety performance. Leading by example, you will develop, implement, and maintain systems and processes, ensuring they are effectively integrated into daily operations and consistently followed to achieve safety excellence.

The Candidate

As an experienced Health & Safety Manager you bring a hands-on approach from a manufacturing or construction setting and hold a NEBOSH diploma (or equivalent qualification) as well as a robust, practical understanding of relevant UK Health & Safety legislation. Your strong planning and organisational skills, coupled with an ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, will enable you to effectively analyse and report data, driving informed decision-making and compliance across the organisation.
