Health & Safety Manager

Our Client:
We are happy to be working with a growing FMCG business near Durham to appoint a Health & Safety Manager into their team.

The Opportunity:
The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory health and safety requirements across multiple sites.

The role involves coordinating the development and implementation of health and safety policies and systems of work, as well as coaching, mentoring, and developing teams to foster a strong health and safety culture. The role will also champion health and safety initiatives across the group, drive continuous improvement projects, provide regular reports to the Senior Leadership and chair the Health & Safety Committee.

This role covers sites across the UK, therefore requires flexibility for travel.

About you:

• Experienced in a Health & Safety leadership role, within FMCG manufacturing
• Strong communication and relationship skills
• NEBOSH General Cert & IOSH Membership minimum
• Ability to travel, UK
