Group Health and Safety Manager
Salary: Competitive (dependant on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Arrangement: Monday to Friday, 08:30 -17:00, UK-wide travel with overnight stays; includes company car, phone and laptop.

About the Role
This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining health & safety frameworks across multiple production and packaging sites. Regular site visits, audits, risk assessments, accident investigations, training delivery and performance management form core responsibilities. Experience or knowledge of the print & packaging sector is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement H&S policies, ensuring legal compliance

Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections

Investigate incidents and drive corrective action

Provide training and ongoing support to staff

Advise management on H&S best practice

Define, measure, and report on H&S performance metrics
Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of UK health & safety legislation (e.g., Health and Safety at Work Act)

Proven risk assessment and compliance experience

Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Analytical mindset with data-driven approach

IOSH qualification (desirable)
