An excellent opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Health and Safety specialist to take on a crucial standalone position. You’ll be responsible for managing every aspect of workplace safety, ensuring legal standards are met, shaping forward-thinking health and safety strategies, and nurturing a modern wellbeing culture throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and enforcing effective health and safety procedures and frameworks
• Performing thorough hazard evaluations and internal reviews to guarantee legislative compliance
• Coordinating emergency preparedness activities and conducting relevant staff training sessions
• Analysing workplace incidents and implementing corrective actions to mitigate future risks
• Overseeing financial planning and resource allocation for health and safety initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 5 years’ background in a health and safety position, preferably in dynamic industries such as FMCG or life sciences
• Holds a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
• Analytical mindset with the ability to tackle complex issues
• Influential leader adept at embedding a safety-first mindset across teams
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities
• Extra credentials in Lean methodologies, 5S, or Six Sigma are advantageous
