An established and highly respected family-owned engineering business specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of construction products is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of the health, safety and wellbeing agenda across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to shape culture, influence decision-making at board level, and drive continuous improvement across both manufacturing and site operations.

The Role
Lead and develop the company’s Health & Safety strategy across manufacturing and installation activities. Drive a positive, proactive safety culture throughout the business. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards. Provide expert guidance and support to operational teams and senior management. Manage audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective actions. Develop policies, procedures, training programmes and performance metrics. Maintain a visible presence across workshop, manufacturing and site-based operations. Act as the focal point for all health, safety and wellbeing initiatives. About You
Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within manufacturing, engineering, construction or a related sector. Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification preferred. Comfortable operating across both manufacturing and site environments. A confident communicator capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Passionate about building a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement. Why Join?
