£50,000 - £55,000 + Hybrid Working + Flexi Time + Early Finish Fridays
Monday - Friday, 36 hour week
Manchester, near Failsworth

Do you have experience in a health and safety role within an engineering or manufacturing environment? Are you looking for an exciting new role offering you the chance to manage all Health and Safety related activities within an industry leading manufacturer known for their excellent retention, training and development?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join the team working within their state of the art facility in Manchester. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the health and safety schedule and operations throughout the year, planning and implementing a strategy to promote a positive culture within the workplace. You will manage and conduct all safety reports, inspections and processes amongst a growing production team. You will be working with the directors to improve processes and play a vital role in maintaining the IS0 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards (experience is not essential with all of these standards).

The Role:
*Maintaining ISO accreditations
*Leading projects to improve audits and health and safety operations
*Plan and implement a strategy to promote health and safety within the workplace

The Candidate:
*Experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing / engineering environment
*Able to commute to Manchester
*An understanding of Hazardous areas and safety systems
