A Health & Safety Officer job opportunity has become available within a business that has supplied revolutionary technology to multiple industries for over 40 years. During a significant period of growth, this award-winning organisation is expanding its teams, including additional headcount within its Health, Safety & Environmental function.
The successful Health & Safety Officer will earn a salary circa £45,000 and benefit from an early finish on Fridays. There is also a clear opportunity to progress into a more senior position as the business continues to grow.
Health & Safety Officer responsibilities include -
Maintaining risk assessments, COSHH assessments and Safe Systems of Work. Investigating accidents, incidents, hazards and near misses. Monitoring corrective actions through to completion. Advising Managers and Team Leaders on safe working practices. Coordinating inspections, audits, fire drills and emergency planning. Delivering inductions and toolbox talks and maintaining training records.Health & Safety Officer desirable skills and experience -
Health & Safety experience within manufacturing or engineering. NEBOSH qualified, with IOSH Level 3 or equivalent. Experience with risk assessments, SSOWs and COSHH. Experience supporting ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. Confident investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions.Health & Safety Officer position benefits include -
