Health & Safety Officer

Are you an experienced HSE professional looking to make a real impact in a growing manufacturing business?

We're seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead HSE strategy across two UK sites, driving compliance, continuous improvement and a positive safety culture. This is a highly visible role where you'll influence senior leaders, support operational teams and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead HSE strategy and compliance across both sites.

* Develop and maintain policies, procedures and risk assessments.

* Conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations.

* Drive continuous improvement and safety performance initiatives.

* Deliver HSE training and promote a positive safety culture.

* Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability activities.

* Act as the key contact for auditors, regulators and customers.

* Track and report HSE performance metrics.

About You

* NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or equivalent.

* CMIOSH or working towards Chartered status.

* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and environmental compliance.

* Proven HSE management experience within manufacturing.

* Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 preferred.

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Aerospace experience and Six Sigma qualifications are advantageous.
