Are you passionate about Health and Social Care and committed to helping students achieve their full potential? Southwark College, part of NCG, is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our thriving curriculum team.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach across our successful Health and Social Care provision, with a particular focus on the T Level Health programme alongside our well-established BTEC Level 3 courses. You'll play a vital role in preparing learners for rewarding careers in the health sector, equipping them with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to succeed.
What you'll be doing
As a valued member of our team, you will:
Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that inspires and challenges students. Support the development of innovative schemes of learning, lesson plans and teaching resources alongside colleagues. Assess student work, providing constructive feedback that motivates learners to achieve their best. Develop students' theoretical understanding and practical skills, preparing them for employment or further study. Monitor learner progress, celebrate success and provide timely interventions where needed. Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement. Create a positive, inclusive and professional learning environment where every student can thrive. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continuously enhance the student experience.
