Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, deliver, and develop teaching/learning programmes using a diverse range of strategies and learning styles.
• Take responsibility for the quality of teaching and related curriculum development to meet learner needs.
• Assess learners' progress in College or during work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the college's success.
• Promote a culture focused on growth, purpose, and a sense of belonging, enabling students to make outstanding progress and achieve their aspirational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE.
• A degree in Health and Social Care or relevant industry experience.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding lessons.
• Experience working with SEND students is highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of the Health and Social Care curriculum and related topics.
• Strong commitment to academic and pastoral excellence.
• Ability to inspire students and communicate knowledge with enthusiasm.
