We are seeking a passionate and committed Health and Social Care Teacher to join our Outstanding school in Redditch. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Health and Social Care at both KS4 and KS5, with additional responsibilities as part of a TLR role. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to progress in their career, with the added benefit of leadership opportunities within the department.

Experience and Qualifications

• A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field


• A teaching qualification with QTS


• Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and KS5


• Leadership aspirations, with a desire to take on extra responsibilities within the department

Specific Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality lessons in Health and Social Care to KS4 and KS5 students


• Supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes through effective assessment and feedback


• Managing and developing the Health and Social Care department with a focus on curriculum development


• Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment for all students


• Developing positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents, and contributing to the overall success of the school

Salary
The salary will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS / UPS), with a TLR for the successful candidate.
