About the Role - level 5 health and social care trainer
As a level 5 health and social care trainer, you’ll deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences to adult learners working towards Level 5 qualifications. Your role will combine teaching, mentoring, and assessing—ensuring learners are workplace-ready and fully supported in their development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, standard-aligned training sessions (both in-person and remotely)

  • Designing course content and resources that reflect up-to-date sector knowledge

  • Monitoring learner progress and providing tailored feedback and support

  • Supporting learners through their End Point Assessment journey

  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and empowering learning environment

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced level 5 health and social care trainer with a genuine commitment to learner success. You’ll bring real-world care sector experience and a desire to pass on your knowledge in a meaningful way.

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • A Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care

  • Teaching and assessing qualifications (PTLLS, AET, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)

  • Industry experience in health and social care (care home background preferred)

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and mentoring skills
