Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator

Unique Employment are looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator for our client based in Spalding. 

This is a temporary contract for 9 months.

Working hours: 

Monday - Friday 

8.30am - 5.30pm

Responsibilities include: 

• To promote Health, Safety and Environmental awareness throughout all areas of the Company and ensure all tasks are completed as required within the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations
  
• To ensure there are risk assessments and work instructions in place for all activities 
• To complete regular workplace inspections and safety walks to ensure work areas and equipment are kept in good condition
• Maintain and compile Health and Safety statistics for Senior Management and Health and Safety meetings

The ideal candidate: 

• Must have good communication skills
• Be punctual
• Computer literate
• Ability to work on own initiative

• Be committed to the role and demonstrate enthusiasm towards promoting the health, safety and well being of colleagues, and help to provide a safe and healthy environment for work

• Knowledge and understanding of a production/warehouse setting and the part Health and Safety plays within that environment
  
• Have good attention to detail
• Good analytical skills 
• Ideally IOSH Managing Safely qualified or hold a similar qualification (desirable not mandatory)
